1) Can you add [insert name of some anime-related content] to your site?
Please don't ask me to add anything to the site that's not already there. I add new stuff when I'm good and ready, so please don't hassle me. If you're looking for a web site for that content, instead of asking me, just go search around on the millions of other anime sites out there. I don't have the time to add new content every time someone asks me to.
2) Have you ever seen/read/heard of [insert name of anime/manga]?
If you want to know if I've seen or read a particular anime/manga series, I've listed them all on the About the Webmistress page. Besides the series' listed here, there are tons more that I've heard of even if I haven't seen them so don't bother asking. I'm well aware that there are a lot of good anime series' that I haven't seen yet. I give my best effort in trying to watch as much anime as I can, but I only have the time and money for so much at a time. Please don't hassle me by saying "you should see this anime/read this manga, it's so good, you'll like it, etc." I already know of plenty of anime series' that I'd like to get into when I can, so I really don't need anyone's recommendations.
3) What's your favorite anime?
I also get this question a lot. Again, the answer is on the About the Webmistress page.
4) Can you help me make a web site?
Sorry, but I really don't have the time. I'm sure there are plenty of other resources out there which could explain web site building way better than I could :)
5) Want to join my forum/network/chat room/online group/?
Sorry, but I just don't have the interest or time for those kind of things. I don't "chat" and I never had any desire to join a forum or similar online group, so please don't ask me to. If you want to talk with me, please just do it through e-mail.
6) Can I use content from Anime Yume.com for my own site?
Of course! But PLEASE read through the Site Policy first and follow its rules.
7) Can you post my fan art/fan fics on Anime Yume?
Sorry, but no. The sections for My Fan Art and My Fan Fics are just for me to post my stuff. I just don't have the time or patience to deal with other peoples' submissions.
8) Will you link to my site?/Can I link to Anime Yume?
Any questions you might have about site linkage (me linking to your site, or you linking to my site) should be answered on the Link to Me page.
9) Can I add you to my address book?
That depends...if you're one of those people who likes to send tons of FWD messages and chain letters to all their online friends, then please don't send them to me. I have no interest in that kind of mail and all it really does is clog up my inbox. Only send me e-mail in which you have something to say to me specifically, and not just a random chain letter or personal comment that you send to all your "buddies." I don't mind a couple FWD messages every once in a while, but if I've only talked to you like, once or twice, and then you keep sending me chain letter after chain letter then I may block you from sending me any e-mail at all.
10) Can you teach me Japanese?
I'm not fluent in Japanese, nor do I live in Japan. I dedicate a lot of my time trying to learn the language myself, so I really don't have the time to teach others. However, if you just want to get a start at learning Japanese please check the Learn Some Japanese section.

Ummm...I'm flattered that you like my site, but please make sure your e-mail has decent spelling and grammar before you send it to me. Sorry, but this is just one of my pet peeves! XD To me, English is one of the most beautifully precise and evocative languages there is. Why so many people bastardize it so, especially through the Internet and e-mail, I'll never understand. I can handle a few spelling errors, especially if it's not your native language, but blatant disregard for grammar, punctuation, etc., reflect nothing but laziness and immaturity on the part of the person writing. If your e-mail looks anything like the sample above, you might not get a reply (and even if you do, you won't gain much respect from me! XP) All I ask is that you take a few minutes to proofread and spell-check your e-mail before you send it.

I can usually reply to most of my mail within a day or so, but sometimes it takes me longer. If you don't hear back from me within a couple of weeks, then I either didn't get your mail (in which case, try sending it again) or you didn't abide by the FAQ and I ignored your mail (in which case, go back and read the FAQ!) Well, with that said, if you've got any other questions, comments, errors to report, or just want to talk with a fellow anime fan, send your e-mail on over! :)
