Anime Imported Calendar Scans - I received a bunch of anime imported 2006 calendars for Xmas and, after spending a couple hours with my friend's digital camera, I took pictures of them all(plus some others that I had) and decided to make this new section ^_^ Hope you like it! Merry(late) Christmas!
Hi…I'm so sorry Anime Yume has been disabled these past few days 0_0,,, It went over its monthly bandwidth limit, and normally I would've kept it open anyway and paid the extra money, but I'm really broke now XP So I had no choice but to shut it down for a few days. But it's back now and I'm gonna make sure it never has to go down again! Well anyway, next week I have to start studying for finals(which are the week before Christmas) so I probably won't be able to have another update until after that. But you guys can look forward to the new sections that I'm going to be working on during my winter break…and I'm also planning a special "Christmas present" for you all ^^,,, I'm not gonna say much about it now…you'll just have to wait and see! - Like I promised, the opening/ending video clips are back! ^_^ I've switched the mp3s with the video clips for the Full Metal Alchemist, Inuyasha, Digimon, Naruto, Pokemon, One Piece, and Yu-Gi-Oh! sections, so go check 'em out! I've also updated the Media File Guidelines again, so please read it first before downloading. I know that the reason my site had to be disabled for bandwidth issues was because of the popularity(and hopefully not direct linking) of the mp3s. In order to prevent the same thing from happening with the video clips, I'm going to moniter my bandwidth carefully and if it looks like my bandwidth is going to go over the limit, I may temporarily take away all the media files for a while. But hopefully that won't happen, and even it does it will only be temporary so don't worry ^^,,,

- and as for what I said last update about bringing the opening/ending clips back and alternating between them and the mp3s, I really think I'm going to give it a try! I revised the Media File Guidelines to reflect this decision, so please read it. Right now, the mp3s are still the only media files available, but I'll swith them with the video clips as soon as I can(probably sometime within the next couple of weeks.) So don't worry...the opening/ending clips are on their way back! ^^
Hi, sorry this update took awhile. I thought I had updated not that long ago…I guess I got distracted with Thanksgiving(which was delicious, by the way ^.^), and I was also finishing up a couple of school projects that are going to be due soon. But now that I'm done with them, I'm gonna have to start studying for finals soon 0_0,,, But not to worry, I'll have plenty of time for updates(new anime sections finally! >:D) during my winter break.
I've also got some news about the media files. As you probably know, due to bandwidth issues, I had to take away all the anime opening/ending clips from the site, leaving just the mp3s. Well, since doing that my bandwidth has definitely gone down. Last month it was pretty far from going over the limit, although this month it looks like it might go over slighty…I guess it's not always going to be the same each time. So don't worry if Anime Yume suddenly shuts down from excessive bandwidth…if that does happen, it will only be temporary until by bandwidth restarts, which shouldn't be too long. But I've decided that I'm going to alternate between having the mp3s and opening/ending clips available(for example, one month the mp3s will be available, next month the video clips, and so on.) I'm still thinking about exactly how to work it out…I'm going to try and update again this weekend and maybe I'll have it figured out by then =P

Hi ^_^ It's a very Naruto-ish update today. I guess it's 'cause I've been watching a lot of the fansubs lately(I'm on episode 136 now…almost caught up, LOL ^^,,,) I've also been watching the Naruto dub as well. LOL, it's been over a year since I watched those early episodes, so it's nice to see them again ^^,,,(and the dub is still pleasing me so far.) Well anyway, I'll probably be able to update a couple more times before my winter break begins a few days before Christmas. And then I'll be on vacation until February, so that gives me plenty of time for more updates ^_^ Like I mentioned before, I'm planning on adding new anime sections to the site. I already know for sure that I want to add sections for Noir and Wolf's Rain, but maybe I'll add more too…we'll see. Well, guess that's it for now. And to all you American visitors, have a happy Thanksgiving! =)

OMG, you're not gonna believe this news ^^(it's good news, don't worry.) Just two days after my last update, when I stated that due to bandwidth issues I had to remove most of the mp3s, my server upgraded and I got a ton more monthly bandwidth!(at no extra charge ^__^) So today I brought back all the mp3s that I took away last time. Even though I have a lot more bandwidth, I'm still not sure it's enough to bring back the opening/ending clips too, but I'll see. And if all goes well(and I don't get any excessive direct linking), the mp3s should be able to stay up for good this time =) All I can ask is that if you find any site that's direct linking files from Anime Yume, let me know. And also, if you find a song that you like, please save it to your computer(right click and select "Save Target as…") rather than repeatedly downloading it directly from the site. Thanks!

Well, after waiting a week or so since my last update, it seems that taking away all the opening/ending video clips cut down on some of my excessive bandwidth, but unfortunately not enough. So I had to remove most of the mp3s from the site as well. Again I'm really sorry about this, but don't worry, I have good news too. I'm definitely planning on a way to rotate all the media files so they'll once again be available. Hi ^_^ Sorry it's been so long. Even though I'm not working anymore, I've just been caught up in many other things. Besides school and some home-life problems, I had a lot of sudden social engagements last weekend, and lately I've had a bunch of anime to get through, and I've also been totally hooked on playing the newest Pokemon Game Cube game, Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness(ok, I guess those aren't good excuses, LOL ^^a) But anyway, in spite of all that, I knew it was time for an update! Since I've been watching some new anime lately I've been wanting to add new anime sections to the site, but I just haven't had the time. I probably won't be able to add them until my winter break in December and January, but I just wanted to let you know that I'm planning to ^_^(and I still need to add more Naruto and Full Metal Alchemist Character Bios...I've been putting those off way too long, LOL.) Well, I'm not sure when I'll be able to update again. I have two big projects for a couple of my classes that I need to start working on, and I also need to study for the JLPT(Japanese Language Proficiency Test) that I'm taking in December. But I'll try and find time when I can ^^
And now, I have some important news about the media files on the site. One of the main reasons I added video clips and mp3s to Anime Yume was because my web site plan offers me a lot of bandwidth per month, and I wasn't even using up a quarter of it. So I figured the media files would be nice additions to the site since I had plenty of bandwidth space for them. Since I added them in August, my bandwidth has gone up considerably, which is to be expected, but it's even gone over my monthly limit, which costs me more money. Now, I'm okay with this as long as it doesn't go too far over the limit. I'm assuming that the reason my bandwidth is over triple of what it used to be is because the video clips and mp3s are very popular. But unfortunately, it could also be because someone is direct linking the files. I don't know, but this month my bandwidth seems to be going up more and more each day, so I had no choice but to remove some of the files. I removed all of the opening/ending video clips from all the anime sections. However all the mp3s are still available.
Hopefully, with the video clips gone, my bandwidth will go back to a reasonable amount. If not, the worst thing that could happen is that I'll have to remove all the mp3s too, but I'll still try and do some sort of rotation, where all the files will still be available, just not all at the same time. I'm sorry about this, but I guess I just didn't realize how much bandwidth those kind of files would require. Hopefully, I'll still have enough bandwidth to keep the mp3s available all the time, and just rotate the video clips, but I'm still not sure yet. I'll have to wait and see in a few days or so if my bandwidth goes down at all. What you can do to help is that, if you know of any site that is direct linking any file from Anime Yume, please let me know. And also, if you wish to repeatedly use any files on Anime Yume, download them to your own computer or upload them to your own web site server so it doesn't use my bandwidth. I'm hoping that the reason my bandwidth went up so high is that the media files are popular and not because of direct linking, but you never know. So like I said, the worst that could happen is that I'll have to rotate the media files so they won't all be available at the same time, but don't worry; I have no intention of getting rid of them completely ^^,,, I'll just have to cut down on how many are available at once. Well, I'll keep you guys posted if I have to remove anymore files or if I come up with a new idea. Thanks for your help! =)
- as I explained above, since my bandwidth is getting ridiculously high, I removed all the anime opening/ending video clips from the site. Sorry about this, but hopefully you were able to download the clips you wanted before I took them away. And if not, don't worry...I might try and figure out a way to rotate them so you'll still be able to get them eventually.

You're probabaly wondering why I'm updating again so soon after I said I was going to be busy with work and school? Well, I still have school, but as for my job...it just didn't work out. Yup, after only being there two weeks, the pet store I was working at let me go yesterday >_< I know, it totally sucks. It's not that I goofed off or did anything bad...the reason they gave me was that I wasn't "an aggressive enough salesperson." Even though I did my other tasks, like using the register, stocking the products, making labels, taking care of the animals, cleaning, etc., just fine, because I didn't pounce on every costumer that walked in the door and give them a sales pitch, they didn't want me anymore. They didn't even give me a warning or a chance to correct myself! XP Also, I think the store was going through a lot of changes...they just let one of the old managers go and they have a lot of new people, so who knows what's really going on. But yeah, it's pretty disappointing. Even though I don't need the money desparately, it still hurts to feel rejected like that(I'm sure anyone who's lost a job knows how it feels.) But like always, I've been trying to keep things in perspective...compared to what's happening to people in New Orleans and the rest of the world, this isn't too bad. I'll just have to try and get another kind of job(I'm obviously not "store/sales person" material.) But there is a couple of good things about this I guess; I'll have more time to relax and do the things I want to do...like work on the site of course, LOL. So yeah, expect updates to go back to normal...every few weeks or so. Just a small update today, but you can expect a bigger one probably in early October sometime =)
- The Links page has been totally cleaned up and updated. I reorganized it, got rid of all the dead links, and added a bunch of new links ^_^
Hi…it's been a while ^^ Sorry, but I have an important announcement to make: for the next few months I probably won't be able to have any new updates for Anime Yume. The reason? I started my third semester of college last week, and that wouldn't have been a problem by itself, but I also have a job now too! 0_o Don't get me wrong, I like my job and my classes are pretty good too, but between both of them I'm busy every single weekday from early in the morning until late at night. My only free time is the weekends and I usually need those to do homework and other errands that I don't have time for during the week. So that leaves pretty much no time for me to do any decent site updates. I'm so sorry about this, but don't worry…Anime Yume is not closing or anything like that. It will still be open, just not updated for a while. But still, I might surprise you and do a small update when I can, or fix up a few of the old pages(the Links page really needs some work =P) Just don't expect anything major until late December, when my college semester ends and I start winter break. Then I'll definitely have more time. But for now, as much as I enjoy working on the site, it looks like I'm gonna have to take a few month break from being a web runner and focus on my job and classes(a.k.a. Real life) for a change ^^,,, But I'm glad I was able to do so much work on Anime Yume during the summer and I hope you'll still continue to visit ^__^ Again, sorry about this, but I promise I'll be back with updates a soon as I can. Hi. Pretty big update today, though not as big as I originally intended. I wanted to do a bunch of Character Bios for the One Piece and the Naruto and/or Full Metal Alchemist sections, but when I least expected it, I may have finally found a job ^^,,, One of the places I sent a resume to two months ago finally decided to call be back. So I had to go to a couple of interviews this week(I might even start work within the next few days.) Plus I had to get my books and stuff ready for when I go back to school after Labor Day, so that all took away some update time. But even though I didn't get a chance to work on more of the Naruto or Full Metal Alchemist Bios, at least I was able to practically finish all the One Piece Bios(and I worked especially hard on them too =P) and add a few more mp3s. This is probably gonna be my last update for a while. Since I go back to college in a few days and I have no idea what my work schedule will be yet, I'm not sure when I'll have more time to work on the site. But hopefully it won't be too long. I'll keep you posted ^^ Ok, ja ne for now!

And not just a few…I spent the last four days uploading literally over 1,000MB worth of anime media files! ^__^ This is definitely one of Anime Yume’s biggest updates of all, LOL. Well, enough out of me. I’m sure you guys are dying to get to the media ^^,,,
- All 20 of Anime Yume's anime sections now has a Media page! ^_^ There's hundreds of MBs worth of anime opening/ending video clips and mp3s! So what are you waiting for? Go get 'em! But just make sure you read the Media Guidelines first(don't worry, it's not too long ^^,,,)
Mp3 Requests - another new media-related page in the Special Features =)
Hi ^_^ It's been a while. I would've updated sooner, but there's a good reason why I didn't...I got a new computer! I'm so happy! ^.^ I just couldn't stand that old, broken-down junk pile I was using before another minute =P So now I have a super-fast and super-smooth Gateway computer with a nice LCD moniter and Windows XP. It's just such a dream compared to my old comp...I can't even explain the difference, LOL ^^,,, So for the past few days I've been getting used to my new computer and installing a lot of programs and software on it. I still have yet to figure out everything it can do, but I guess that's what I'll spend the rest of my vacation doing, hehe(since I'm having no luck getting a job.) But one of the greatest things about it is that now I can finally download anime! ^__^ Yes, I can finally emerge in the amazing world of Bittorrent and get all the anime that was out of my reach before(just yesterday I downloaded the 4th Inuyasha movie! It was awesome! ^^) So between downloading and watching anime, and trying to figure out how to use all the programs on my computuer, I've been very occupied =P Plus I've been getting together with many of my friends lately too(and borrowing even more anime from them ^^) In addition to that, my mom is off from work this week and we've had a lot of errands to take care of, and we're also making plans to do something nice together before she goes back to work(we're gonna spend the day at a nice beach in Malibu. I know, it's nothing exciting, but it's something for us ^^,,,) So yeah, I went from being bored to having so much to to do! So I'm sorry this update is so small, but at least now you know why ^^,,, But I promise to do a bigger update later in the month. And, now that I've got a much better computer, I might even be able to make new sections for the site that I couldn't before(maybe even media, like music, video clips, etc.,) But don't expect anything yet...it's just a thought, and I'm still not sure of exactly everything my comp can do. But anyway, you can bet I'll be messing around with my new computer some more for the rest of the summer, but I'll still find time to update ^_^ Well, guess that's it. Hi! I finally got all my Anime Expo stuff posted! I had a great time and I took a bunch of good photos. But I don't need to tell you all about it here; I made an entire new section on the site for all the Expo stuff, so go check it out! ^_^ This update turned out bigger than I thought 'cause not only did I make the new section for AX, but a few of the Picture Galleries have new pictures(all of which are scans I made of pencil boards I got at AX ^^,,,) and there's some new Anime News. Well, today marks Anime Yume's 3rd birthday ^_^ I can't believe I've been able to keep it up for so long! Even though Anime Yume's layout isn't anything to write home about, it's outlasted a lot of other sites. And the fact that over these 3 years its received over 300,000 hits...that really makes me proud of all the hard work I've put into it and, of course, grateful to all my loyal visitors ^^ Thank you so much, and to those of you who've e-mailed me with kind words and compliments, I can't tell you how much I appreciate it ~^_^~ Thanks again to all those who enjoy Anime Yume and I hope you'll continue to visit for many more years to come!
Anyway(with sentiment aside ^^,,,), all I've really got today is a few 3rd year birthday banners. But I'm gonna try and do another small update in a few days(maybe just add a new splash page and some new link banners.) And on Sunday, I'll be off to Anime Expo =) And since I'm planning on taking lots of photos there, I'll try and post those soon as well. But then on Tuesday I have to go to a job interview, and after that I have to help my mom move all her school supplies and equipment to the new school that she's going to be working at(which is a bit far from our house.) So I probably won't have time for a major update for another week or two. But when I do, I'll probably add more pages to the Learn Some Japanese section and/or Character Bios to the One Piece section(and maybe some more Bios to the Full Metal Alchemist and Naruto sections.) I'm hoping to get a job no later than early July, so since I have no idea what my schedule will be, I don't know when I'll be able to update again. But hopefully it won't be too long. And I'm pretty sure I'm going to Anime Expo either July 2nd or 3rd, so I'll be sure and post any photos I take on the site =) Oh yeah, and just a quick bit of news, Miyazaki's new movie Howl's Moving Castle opened to 200 theaters in the US this past weekend. I'm finally back! Sorry it took so long, but now I've only got one more final left(and it's my easiest one, Japanese ^^) tomorrow night, and after that I'm done with school until September 6th. So even though I'm pretty sure I'll be working this summer, I should still have time for a bunch of updates. And, to start things off, I've got a pretty big update today. There's not only one, but two new anime sections for Naruto and One Piece! ^_^ Anime Yume now has an even 20 different anime sections total...and just in time for it's 3rd birthday, which is coming up at the end of the month! ^^ Right now the new sections only have the basic stuff; Information, Story Synopsis, and Picture Gallery, but I really want to add Character Bios sections to both of them too, and to the Full Metal Alchemist section as well. LOL, so maybe I'll just take a few days off and do nothing but write character bios, hehe ^^,,, And I've also got some other good news. I might actually get to go to Anime Expo this year! =) I can't believe it! For those of you who don't know what it is, Anime Expo is a huge anime convention that's been held in Anaheim, California since 1992. I've known about it for a few years now, but I either never had the time or money for it, but usually I had no way of getting there(Anaheim is a long two hour drive from where I live.) But this year one of my friends is volunteering there, and she said I can go with her! So if I do go, I'll be sure to take pictures and post them on the site. Going there should cheer me up, since I've been kind of depressed lately because a few days ago we had to put one of my cats that I loved dearly to sleep 8_8 I've been trying to forget about it, but it's not easy, since he's not right by my side now like he always was when I would spend all day at the computer =( ...well, working on the site is good therapy, hehe. Anyway, expect another update maybe within the next couple of weeks =)

So I decided to organize them alphabetically(by the first letter of their title) onto three separate pages. So yeah, let me know if you think this way looks better :)

Anime News - a few new bits of news
Hi. Just a small update today. Sorry, but like I said last time, I've got tons of finals to study for during the next few weeks XP(believe me, I'd rather work on the site, LOL.) The last week of May I have three finals 0_o and then June 6th will be my last final. After that, I should have time for a big update, so just be patient ^_^ Though I don't think I'm going to take classes during the summer, I'm definitely going to look for a job. But I should still have time for plenty of updates(new anime sections, maybe? ~_^) We'll see. Anyway, enjoy this little update and I'll see you all in June :)

Hi! To make up for that small update last time, I got a major update today!(I've actually been working on it all week ^^,,,) But unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to update again for a while. I've got two big school reports due in mid-May, so until then I'm going to have to spend most of my spare time working on them. And after that, since my finals are the first week of June, I'm gonna have to study for them too! XP Hopefully I'll be able to have at least one more update after this one before my summer vacation starts. But until then, enjoy this big update and let me know what you think of the new sections I added! ^_^

Learn Some Japanese - now that I've been learning Japanese, I've been wanting to add more to this page for so long. And now, I finally have ^^ I completely revised it and added tons of new information, making it bigger and better than before! ^_^ So much in fact, that it's now divided into six different parts. I've got three of the parts posted so far
Anime Greeting Cards - this is a brand new section under Special Features!
LOL, I hope you all enjoyed my little April fools joke yesterday ^^,,, For those of you who missed it, you can still see it here. Anyway, besides that I really only have one new thing today. Sorry, but when I said I'd update this weekend I had totally forgotten that I have an Anthropology test and a History midterm both next week! 0_0 So I've been spending most of spare time studying. But once this week is over with, updates should resume normally for a while(every 3 to 4 weeks or so.) That is until June when I have my final, but we don't have to worry about that now ^^,,, Oh yeah, I finally got a CD player in my new car. LOL, I have about 8 CDs of nothing but anime songs that I burned, and I just couldn't stand not being able to listen to them on my way to school! Well anyway, sorry this update is so small but I'll try to update again by the end of the month. I still want to do some more work on the Full Metal Alchemist section, and I've also been wanting to do some major work on the Learn Some Japanese section too. And also, there are a few other animes that I'd like to make sections for too...but I think this might have to wait until my summer vacation(though I was planning on trying to get a job then... ^^,,,) Well, we'll just see what happens. Alrighty, ja ne for now.
Full Metal Alchemist Story Synopsis - added the Story Synopsis to the new Full Metal Alchemist section
Hi...so sorry it took me so long! Man, I didn't think it would take me nearly a month to get another update in, especially since I have my week long spring break, but these past few days have been some of my busiest ever! 0_0 I've just had so many things to take care of that I never had time to during school weeks. First off, my birthday was on the 19th and I got one of the best gifts you could ask for...a car! ^.^ Yay, now I can drive myself to school and visit all my fav anime stores whenever I want to, LOL! And I'm sure those of you that have a car know what a long and grueling process it is to get one, and right after that my mom decided to trade in her old car for another one, so then I had to drive her to the dealer to drop off the old car, and then, since I'm going to be driving by myself from now on, mom wanted us to get a couple of cell phones in case of emergency so we had to go and buy those, and we also had a lot of necessary shopping to do...whew, I'm tired just remembering all that! ^^,,, So by the time I was done with everything, most of my spring break was gone(but I'll admit I spent a couple of days being lazy too :P) But I knew I would have to have some time to work on the 'ol site, so here I am. Pretty big update today, though not as big as I hoped. To make up for the length of time it took me to have this update, I'm gonna try and update again sometime soon...hopefully around next weekend. Well, see you all later!
- every single anime section has been updated! ^_^ What I did was divide all the Information/Synopsis pages into two different pages. In addition to that, I added a lot more information to all the anime Information pages, so go check 'em all out!
Full Metal Alchemist - Full Metal Alchemist finally has its own section on Anime Yume! Right now, all it's got is an Information, Episode Listing, and Picture Gallery, but I'm gonna add a Story Synopsis hopefully on the next update and maybe a couple other sections later on

Hi! Well, like I promised, here's my last update before I start my second semester of college. Hopefully, I'll be able to update again within the month. But for now, today's update is pretty big so it should hold you until then! ^^,,, Not only is there a brand new section, but I've been going through all the anime pictures I have on my computer and I've found a lot that I never got around to posting on the site ^_^ BTW, about two weeks ago I was busy organizing many pages of Anime Yume into different subdirectories(which makes it easier for me to make changes to the site.) I think I've fixed everything, but if you happen to find any broken links or images, please let me know! Anyway, before I go, I just wanted to say that within the past year or so, Anime Yume has gotten so many more hits and page views than ever before...and the numbers keep rising all the time! So I just wanted to thank you, my loyal visitors, for your continued support and all the nice, complimenting e-mails many of you send me ^_^ They really mean a lot to me and I'm glad that you all continue to keep up with Anime Yume, even if I can't update as much as you'd like me to, LOL! "A City With No People"- Vol. Six - Seven - added the last two volumes, thus finally completing this section ^_^
Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Scans - this section has been totally redone! What I did was re-scan all the cards, so instead of only having scans of the main picture of the card, the scans are now of the entire card. The reason I started scanning only the main picture of each card was to save bandwidth. But now I have way more bandwidth than I used to, so I made all the old scans bigger and better than ever. I also added TONS of new card scans! So many in fact, that I couldn't even list them all! So just go and check 'em all out, LOL! ^^
