Original Japanese name: Fushigibana
Evolution: Evolves from Ivysaur
The plant on Venusaur's back blooms when it is absorbing solar energy, prompting it to keep moving in search of sunlight. The flower catches the sun's rays, absorbs the sunlight, then uses it for energy. As a result, Venusaur is more powerful in the summertime. The flower is said to take on vivid colors if it gets plenty of nutrition and sunlight. As it warms itself and absorbs sunlight, a bewitching aroma wafts from the flower, with a fragrance that becalms those engaged in battle and soothes the emotions of people. When it is catching the sun's rays, it often remains quiet and still. After a rainy day, the flower smells stronger and its scent attracts other pokemon. By spreading the broad petals of the flower and catching the sun's rays, Venusaur fills its body with power.
