The movie is over three hours long and details the emotional struggle of the samurai as their inner conflict of duty conflicts with their anger and impatience. Eventually one that becomes sick commits suicide because he wasn't able to fulfill his duty. It's one of the better movies I've watched because of the pure emotional aspect of it.
