I’m assuming you watched the original 14 episode series that aired in 2006. The episodes were not shown in chronological order during their 2006 broadcast (but were in the right order for the DVD releases and 2009 rebroadcast). For the original 2006 airing, the correct order would be as follows (the number refers to the original broadcast number):

02 – The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya I
03 – The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya II
05 – The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya III
10 – The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya IV
13 – The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya V
14 – The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya VI
04 – The Boredom of Haruhi Suzumiya
07 – Mysterique Sign
06 – Lone Island Syndrome (First Part)
08 – Lone Island Syndrome (Final Part)
01 – The Adventures of Mikuru Asahina Episode 00
12 – Live a Live
11 – The Day of Sagittarius
09 – Someday in the Rain

The anime is based on light novels that are still ongoing, so I’m sure there will be more episodes in the future.

I just finished The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya but I’m confused on the order and don’t know if it really was the last episode I just watched or not. Can you help make it clear to me?

Oh and Lucky Star was awsome. Konata was my favorite, her personality is what I’d like to find in a girlfriend lol.

K-ON! may be girly but it has a huge male following, for obvious reasons XD I personally like it because I enjoy cute, slice-of-life comedy (and KyoAni!)

Shana giving out info too early? Lots of anime do more than that – I kinda like knowing what’s going on from the beginning. But it all comes together in later episodes.

And I think you’re the only person I’ve come across who’s watched over half of Toradora! and thinks it’s annoying. Most people who’ve seen it past the halfway point love it and think its gets better and better.

I went to read the plot for Wolf’s Rain on Wikipedia and really got interested in it, so decided to put it on my to-watch list(just like Noir, Darker than Black, Blood+,Phantom-Requiem for the Phantom, Cowboy Bebop, and many more) I fell in love with InuYasha, but not as much as FMA<3!!! Eureka 7 is such an adorable series=)! The 1st anime I got very attracted to was Naruto. Sure I watched Pokemon, but I didn't think that it was as interesting. When I saw the 1st episode of K-On!, I thought of it as being too girly=(! But I shouldn't judge because I haven't seen any other episode. I didn't like the first episode of Shakugan no Shana 'cause it gave out info too early=P I watched exactly 17 episodes of ToraDora! and stopped because it got tooooooooooo annoying=(

Thanks for the support. I’m glad I introduced Kannagi to someone. I really hope a second season comes out ’cause the next three volumes of the manga reveal more character development and plot. Takenashi-san resuming the manga would be great, too.

I feel Wolf’s Rain is underrated so I’m always looking to give it more attention. Glad it’s on your favorites, as well as One Piece, though the latter gets plenty of attention =) Nice to know we have similar tastes.

Its always good to see Wolf’s Rain getting a high spot – my favourite anime ever. One Piece is my second, so I’m glad to see that in the top 10 as well!
Most of my favourites are here, we seem to have similar tastes! :3

Wow, too bad some folks have to be arrogant and self-righteous with regards to a your preference of anime titles. More like an uppity troll trashing your home and slinging mud. No civility or style. Nevertheless I like your choices, though my top ten faves differ from yours, with the exception of “Kannagi” and “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.” In fact, I have you to thank for my discovery of “Kannagi.” I’ve read a blurb you’ve written about this show, and curiosity has prodded me to investigate. I never write troll posts. I admitted that some of my favorites are generic, but I can’t help it if those are the ones I truly love. I feel like I have a good variety of genres in the 50 I’ve listed and many that a lot of other fans would consider favorites (as for how much anime I’ve seen exactly, you can check my MAL). Saying I have “absolutely no taste” was uncalled for =/ (considering we share at least one favorite, Cardcaptor Sakura, have rated others in a similar way, and you haven’t even seen a number of the titles on my list according to your MAL).
