First of all, it's the credits; it was originally the prologue which makes more since considering this is from the second light novel and we're leaving off from the epilogue of the first book. I don't think very many fans who don't read didn't even know that this scene is a flashback from episode 6 rather than having it actually be the end of season 2. This is the main problem. I don't know if its going to be released in the UK or the USA, but I'm pretty sure over time people will get the chance to sub it (Or even dub it, since the MOHS Dub is amazing.) Sure it was great having new eps and all, but E8 killed it and Sighs was pretty dull (although I started enjoying it more towards the end there tbh). If it wasn't for the endless Endless Eight know I would have enjoyed it more. On the plus side, I did enjoy this season more than 2 of the other "currently airing" series I was watching at the same time: 07 Ghost and Umi Monogatari (aka "Sea Story"), which are both about as much fun as banging my head on a brick wall. I still gave Haruhi 2 a 4 on MAL mostly due to E8 anyways. As for the bit on the last ep, I heard elsewhere that it was a prolouge for one of the novels as well.
