The way it is made it looks pretty authentic, but the fabric seemed a little bit shiny. But that could also be because it's made of rinzu-silk. Anyway, it's a really pretty piece. By the way, if you're interested in kimono and in the kimono culture, come and visit the immortal geisha forums! There are many people, showing of their gorgeous kimono and kitsuke skills.
